I still need to read Digital Minimalism.. Not sure if I should, as I've heard so many podcasts by Cal that I've probably gotten most of it through that medium, but I quite like So Good They Can't Ignore You and Deep Work. So I probably should anyway!
That HP book seems interesting. We forget what an influential company they were at the time!
I think you hit the nail on the head for Digital Minimalism. It is a good book, but much of the information was not new to me, personally. Cal is excellent.
The HP books is an easy read, going back to when HP was a scrappy start up with no money and all heart💞!
With Cal's stuff, I feel like after you get the main concept, it's about drilling them in your head over and over, and refreshing periodically. A bit like with Buffett.
That's why I like his podcast. It's more like ongoing practice than about learning new things everytime.
I enjoyed how your reasons were conveyed very clearly for why owning a smaller number of positions is better for actively managed funds.
